“Datskovsky rises above her peers, producing culturally insightful work.”
– Gothamist

Miriam grabbed national headlines when she became Columbia University’s first sex columnist, from September 2004 through December 2006. Over the course of her two-and-a-half year run, Miriam covered everything from losing your virginity to homophobia to the trouble with getting naked and loving blowjobs. (For the record, the column she’s most proud of is the blowjob one – well, that, and the one about heartbreak.) Along the way, Miriam gave multiple New York city readings, was featured in the New York Times and on NPR, and was anthologized in Best Sex Writing.
